A verse …

I am excited about how many of you are going to be a part of our Scripture verse memorization challenge. What a blessing for families to be focusing on promises from our Heavenly Father. I’m planning on sharing more about why this verse was chosen, but I’ll save it for a post later this week. Let me just say this weekend has had some adventurous/scary moments, for sure. But I know that I can cast my cares on my God because he does care for me.

Sunday’s verse is 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.”

Blessings,
KC

This is the same verse I have by my kitchen sink. We all need to know this verse in our heart because God does not want use to worry and fret all the time! I can do that so it is helpful when I start fretting this verse will pop in my head and I can give it back to HIM!!!

That verse is a favorite of mine in the amplified which reads, in part, “He cares for you,
    watchfully and affectionately…”

Love this, KC. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time with my kids but have slacked. I even bought the words of purpose cds that emily talked about on her blog but my kids didn’t get into it, so I let it go. Nothing better than just the simple scripture. Actually needed that verse today.
